[브레이크뉴스=정철규 기자] 진주시는 8일 진주스포츠파크에서 전국의 그라운드골프 동호인 700여 명이 참가한 가운데 ‘제5회 진주시장배 전국그라운드골프대회’를 개최했다고 밝혔다.
진주시가 주최하고 진주시그라운드골프협회(회장 강호중)가 주관한 이번 대회는 전국 그라운드골프 동호인들의 화합과 체력 증진 및 그라운드골프 종목의저변확대를 위해 마련됐다.
경기는 대한그라운드골프협회 경기규칙 아래 개인전과 단체전으로 나눠 진행됐으며, 경기 결과에 따라 시상이 이진행된다.
조규일 진주시장은 “전국의 그라운드골프 동호인들이 함께 즐기며 건강한 여가생활을 이어가는 계기가 되길 바란다”며 “진주의 10월 축제도 많은 관심과 참여 부탁드린다”고 말했다.
