[브레이크뉴스=배종태 기자] 부산시는 23일 오전 시청 영상회의실에서 박형준 시장 주재로 ‘2027년 국비확보 추진상황 보고회’를 열고 내년도 국비 확보 전략과 주요 사업 추진 상황을 종합 점검했다.
이번 보고회는 정부의 재정 기조 변화에 선제적으로 대응하고, 부산의 미래 성장 기반이 될 핵심 사업의 국비 반영 가능성을 높이기 위해 마련됐다. 특히 정부가 전략적 재원 배분을 통해 성장동력 확충과 구조개혁 지원 등 4대 분야에 재정을 집중하겠다고 밝힌 가운데, 이에 부합하는 사업 발굴과 논리 보강이 주요 과제로 제시됐다.
이날 회의에서는 2027년 정부 중점 투자 방향과 연계한 신규 사업 발굴 현황이 중점적으로 다뤄졌다. 시는 지역 산업 구조와 정책 수요를 반영해 글로벌 해양·물류 경쟁력 강화, 디지털 신산업 육성, 금융·창업 생태계 조성 등과 관련된 신규 과제를 지속 발굴하고 있다.
아울러 가덕도신공항 건설과 지역성장 인재양성체계(ANCHOR) 구축 등 대형 국비사업의 추진 상황도 점검됐다. 가덕도신공항은 부산을 동북아 물류·관광 허브로 도약시키기 위한 핵심 인프라 사업으로, 예비타당성조사 면제 이후 후속 절차가 진행 중이다. ANCHOR 사업은 지역 산업 수요에 맞춘 인재 양성과 정주 여건 개선을 통해 지속 가능한 성장 기반을 마련하는 데 목적이 있다.
국비 확보를 위한 대응 전략도 구체화됐다. 시는 중앙부처 단계에서 사업 필요성과 타당성을 적극 설명하고, 예산 편성 단계에서는 기획재정부와의 협의를 강화하는 한편, 국회 심의 과정에서는 지역 정치권과 공조해 증액 및 반영을 이끌어낸다는 계획이다. 특히 신규 사업의 경우 정책 부합성과 파급 효과를 중심으로 설득 논리를 보완하고, 계속 사업은 총사업비 관리와 공정 점검을 통해 안정적인 예산 확보에 주력할 방침이다.
시는 올해 시정 운영의 큰 틀인 5대 핵심 전략을 중심으로 국비 확보 활동을 전개하고 있다. 해당 전략은 ▲시민행복도시 ▲글로벌 해양허브 도시 ▲글로벌 디지털 신산업 도시 ▲글로벌 금융·창업·지산학 도시 ▲글로벌 문화·관광도시로, 도시 경쟁력 전반을 아우르는 중장기 발전 구상이다.
부산시는 이와 함께 정부 정책 동향과 지역 현안 수요를 지속적으로 분석해 신규 사업의 완성도를 높이고, 중앙부처가 사업의 필요성과 효과를 충분히 인식하도록 자료 보완과 협의를 병행하고 있다.
박형준 시장은 “정부와 국회와의 긴밀한 소통을 바탕으로 역대 최대 규모의 국비 확보를 추진하겠다”며 “부산의 백년대계를 이끌 핵심 사업을 적극 발굴·추진해 글로벌 허브도시로 도약하는 기반을 확실히 다지겠다”고 밝혔다.

Busan Metropolitan City on Wednesday held a progress review meeting on its 2027 state funding strategy, as it seeks to secure a record level of national budget support for key development projects.
The meeting, chaired by Mayor Park Heong-joon at City Hall, focused on aligning Busan’s major initiatives with the central government’s fiscal priorities and strengthening early-stage planning to improve the chances of budget approval.
The city said the review was part of a preemptive effort to respond to the government’s policy direction, which emphasizes strategic allocation of resources to boost growth engines and support structural reform across key sectors.
Officials discussed newly identified projects linked to the government’s investment priorities for 2027, as well as the progress of major state-funded initiatives, including the construction of Gadeokdo New Airport and the establishment of the ANCHOR regional talent development system.
The Gadeokdo airport project is considered a core infrastructure initiative aimed at transforming Busan into a logistics and tourism hub in Northeast Asia. The ANCHOR program is designed to foster a sustainable growth foundation by cultivating talent tailored to regional industry needs and improving local settlement conditions.
The city also outlined a step-by-step strategy to secure national funding, including close coordination with central government ministries during the planning and budgeting stages, as well as cooperation with lawmakers during the National Assembly’s review process.
Busan is currently promoting projects under five key policy pillars: a citizen-centered livable city, a global maritime hub, a digital innovation city, a finance and startup ecosystem integrated with academia and industry, and a global cultural and tourism destination.
Mayor Park said the city would “mobilize all administrative capacity to secure the largest-ever national funding through close communication with the government and the National Assembly,” adding that Busan will “actively push forward long-term projects that will shape the city’s future as a global hub.”
