김포시, 재난대응체계 강화

[브레이크뉴스경기남부=김포 이현준기자] 김포시는 한국농어촌공사지사에 재난안전통신망 단말기 대여해 재난대응 체계를 강화한다.

재난안전통신망은 정부에서 2014년 세월호 참사를 계기로 재난 발생 시 재난안전 관련기관이 신속하게 공동으로 대응하고자 1조 5천억원의 예산을 투입해 구축한 전국 단일 무선통신망이다.

시는 17개 기관과 유기적 재난대응에 철저를 기하고 있으나 지난 7~8월 극한호우 당시 농수로·저수지 등 농업생산기반시설에 피해가 발생했을 때 소관기관인 한국농어촌 김포지사와 연락이 원활하지 않아 초동 대응에 어려움을 겪었다.

김포시는 도농복합시로 농업생산이 자치하는 비중이 적지 않아 향후 가을철 태풍으로 인한 풍수해 발생 시에도 농업시설 피해가 우려되는 상황이다. 이에 신속한 상황전파와 효율적인 대처를 위해 시에서 보유하고 있는 재난안전통신망 단말기를 한국농어촌공사 김포지사에 대여하여 재난대응 협력기관을 확대했다.
