제68회 수원특례시 체육대회 개최

[브레이크뉴스경기남부=수원 이현준기자] 수원시가 제61회 시민의 날을 기념해 12일 수원종합운동장 일원에서 제68회 수원특례시 체육대회를 열었다.

시민의 날 기념식·체육대회 개회식으로 시작된 이날 행사는 명랑운동회, 시민 화합의 장으로 이어졌다.

이재준 수원시장은 개회사에서 “시민 한분 한분이 수원의 위대한 역사를 만들어 왔고, 지금도 수원의 새로운 미래를 만들고 있다”며 “앞으로 ‘수원 대전환’을 이룰 수 있도록 시민들께서 지혜를 보태주시길 바란다”고 말했다. 이어 “오늘 운동회는 구별 대항전이지만 치열한 경쟁보다는 서로 배려하고, 격려하는 즐거운 자리가 되길 바란다”고 덧붙였다.
