세종시가 15일, 하나은행, 세종신용보증재단과 힘찬내일 특별보증 금융지원 업무협약을 체결하고, 매출 감소와 운영비 부담 등으로 어려움을 겪는 외식업체와 창업 소상공인들을 위한 금융지원을 시작한다고 밝혔다.
이날 협약에 따라 하나은행은 5억 원의 특별출연과 금리 우대를 지원하고 세종신용보증재단은 75억 원까지 특별보증·심사완화 등을 시행하는 한편, 세종시는 1.75～2.0% 수준의 이자 차액을 지원한다.
이번 금융지원은 외식업체, 창업 후 3년 미만인 기업, 세종시 전입 1년 이내 기업, 재단과 첫 거래 하는 기업을 대상으로 보증 우대를 제공한다.
특히 세종 민관협력 배달앱 ‘땡겨요’에 가맹된 외식업체에는 추가 보증한도 우대 지원을 할 계획이다.
이를 통해 외식업체의 원활한 자금확보를 통한 자금난 해소, 운영비 부담 완화로 경영 안정성을 높이고 업체의 경쟁력을 확보할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.
김현기 경제산업국장은 “이번 금융지원은 우리 지역 소상공인들이 안정적으로 성장할 수 있는 발판이 될 것으로 기대한다”며 “특히 외식업체와 창업 초기 소상공인들은 자금 조달에 어려움을 겪는 경우가 많은 만큼 이번 지원이 실질적인 도움이 될 수 있을 것”이라고 말했다.
