[브레이크뉴스경기남부=안산 이현준기자] 안산시가 시민 정신 건강 보호와 자살 예방에 기여한 공로를 인정받아 보건복지부 장관 표창을 수상했다.
이번 ‘2024년 정신건강의 날 기념 유공자 표창’에서 상록수보건소와 단원보건소, 안산시정신건강복지센터는 각각 보건복지부 장관 기관 표창의 영예를 얻으며 시민 정신 건강 보호의 선도 도시로써의 자격을 입증했다.
상록수보건소는 지난 2013년 선도적으로 안산시자살예방센터를 설치하고 ▲자살 고위험군 사례관리 ▲지역사회 자살예방 네트워크 구축 ▲생애주기별 자살예방 교육 ▲자체 캐릭터 ‘살구’를 활용한 시민 참여형 자살예방 캠페인 등의 적극적 노력을 인정받았다. 올해에는 신규사업으로 ‘생명존중 안심마을’ 지정을 통해 지역사회와 자살 예방 안전망 강화를 위한 유기적인 협력체계를 구축하고 있다.
단원보건소는 최근 정신질환 관련 범죄에 따른 시민의 불안감 해소를 위해 ‘안산형 시민안전모델’ 정신 건강 안전 민·관합동TF를 구성, 기관 간의 협력을 강화했다. 또한 365일·24시간 정신 응급입원이 가능한 민간 공공병상을 확보하고 응급상황 발생 대비 민·관·경 합동 모의훈련 실시 등의 정신건강 안전 환경을 구축한 점이 높이 평가 받았다.
안산시정신건강복지센터는 디지털 기술을 활용한 비대면 스마트 정신건강사업으로 시민들의 정신건강 서비스 접근성을 향상했다. 자체 캐릭터 ‘마인두’를 통해 정신건강에 대한 편견을 허물어 내는 등 정신건강 인식개선 기여도를 높였다는 평가를 받았다.
