[브레이크뉴스경기남부=용인 이현준기자] 이상일 용인특례시장은 ‘2024년 용인시보육인대회’에 참석했다.
지난 15일 용인제일교회에서 열린 대회에 참석해 보육 발전에 기여한 유공자들에게 표창장을 수여하고 보육 교직원의 노고를 격려했다.
용인시어린이집연합회가 주관한 이날 행사는 보육인들의 단합과 사기진작을 위해 마련됐다.
행사에는 이상일 용인특례시장, 유진선 용인특례시의회의장, 시·도의원, 보육 교직원 등 1500여명이 참석했다.
이날 1부 행사에서는 용인 지역 보육 발전에 기여한 원장, 보육교사, 육아종합지원센터 직원 등 총 58명에게 시장상, 시의장상, 국회의원상, 연합회장상 등 표창을 수여했다.
2부는 경기시나위 오케스트라의 웅장하면서도 흥겨운 국악 공연으로 꾸며져 참가자들의 흥을 돋웠다.
이 시장은 “시의 재정 상황이 어렵지만 용인의 어린이들을 잘 가르쳐 주시는 어린이집 원장님들과 교직원들을 응원하는 뜻에서 20년간 동결됐던 어린이집 냉난방비를 좀 더 지원해 드리고 어린이날 행사 지원 예산도 내년에 늘릴 생각”이라고 밝혔다.
