화성시의회, 도시농업 팜가든 행사 참석

[브레이크뉴스경기남부=화성 이현준기자] 화성시의회가 시민 참여형 도시농업 팜가든 '팜파티' 행사에 참석했다.

16일 동탄 팜가든 실내 학습장에서 화성시의회 배정수 의장, 김영수 의회운영위원장을 비롯해 LH 관계자, 교육생, 지역주민 등 100여 명이 참석하였고, 가든 투어와 수확물 기부 등 다채로운 활동이 이어졌다. 특히 이날 수확한 농작물은 동탄 9동 행복편의점에 기부되어, 지역 사회에 나눔의 의미를 더했다.

배정수 의장은 축사에서 “팜가든은 말 그대로 농업과 정원이 어우러진 멋진 공간이다.”라며, “이곳에 심어진 씨앗이 우리 사회를 더욱 풍요롭고 행복하게 만들어 줄 것이라 믿는다.”라고 전했다.
