[브레이크뉴스경기남부=김포 이현준기자] 김포시의회 자원순환 정책개발연구회는 자동집하시설(크린넷) 운영 방안에 대한 정담회를 개최했다
지난 15일 연구회 소속 김현주 대표의원을 비롯해 유영숙·한종우·권민찬 의원과 자동집하시설 사용 공동주택 관리소장(김포한강예미지, 자이더빌리지메트로, 한강힐스테이트), 관리팀장(김포한강예미지) 그리고 관계부서 공무원이 참석했다.
연구회는 김종혁 의장의 환영사를 시작으로 김현주 대표의원의 주재하에 크린넷 사용상의 만족도 및 애로사항, 효율적인 운영 방안을 위한 정책제언 또는 개선 요청사항 등에 관해 의견을 나눴다.
참석한 공동주택 관계자들과 관계부서에서는 ▲수리비 이중 부과 부담과 수리비 분담에 대한 명확한 가이드라인 부재 ▲크린넷 시설 노후화 가속화에 따른 유지관리 비용 증가 ▲수리업체 독과점 및 금지된 쓰레기 투하 등사용자와 관리자 입장의 애로사항과 고충을 토로했다.
이에 대해 한종우 의원은 “향후 크린넷을 시민들의 불편 없이 어떻게 운영할 것 인가에대한 방안과 기능적인 부분에 있어 인계점에 도달할 때까지 비용 문제를 어떻게 합리적으로 잘 풀어가야 할지 고민이필요하다”고 말했다.
유영숙 의원은 “크린넷 시설은 쓰레기 수거 차량이 지상으로 다니지 않고 지하로 이동한다는 획기적인 시스템이었지만 염분이 많은 식습관으로 인해 지하관로가 부식되고 있다”며 “크린넷 관로 노후화를 가속화하는 음식물쓰레기 처리 현황 등에 대한 면밀한 검토가 필요하고, 미흡한 시스템에 대해서는 시 차원에서도 적극적인 검토가 필요하다”고 밝혔다.
권민찬 의원은 “크린넷 문제는 현재 상황에서 시민이 선택해야 할 문제도 아니고 다양한 운영 사례를 통해 우리 시에서 도입할 수 있는 대책을 강구해야할 시기인 만큼 미래지향적으로 지역사회 모두 고민이 필요하다”고 전했다.
김현주 대표의원은 마무리 발언으로 “크린넷의 효율적인 운영 방안 마련을 위한 연구 결과가 사용자와 관리자 모두가 수긍할 수 있는 좋은 결과물로 도출될 수 있도록 지속적으로 노력하겠다”며 “앞으로도 지속적인 관심과 협력을부탁드린다”고 말했다.
