시는 오는 19일 오후 3시 시청 한누리에서 수혜 학생들과 그 가족, 신상진 성남시장, 김기용 글로벌 비전네트워크 재단 이사장 등이 참석한 가운데 ‘창복장학금 2500만원 전달식’소식을 전했다.
해당 장학금은 후원자의 뜻에 따라 어려운 형편에도 열심히 공부하는 중학생 24명과 고등학생 26명에게 각각 50만원씩 전달된다.
글로벌 비전네트워크는 농촌과 도시 청소년의 리더십·인성 교육, 지원을 목적으로 2011년 4월 29일 수내동에 설립된 법인으로, 성남시에 장학금 기탁은 올해로 11년째다.
시는 지난 2014년부터 이번까지 총 2억500만원의 장학금을 후원받아 드림스타트 사업이 종료된 410명의 중·고등학생에게 전달했다.
성남시 드림스타트 사업은 취약계층 아동(0~12세)에게 건강·복지·교육의 맞춤형 통합서비스를 지원한다. 사업 대상은 372가구, 500명이다.
