동국대 WISE캠퍼스 인문도시사업단 음악 인문학 콘서트 개최

【브레이크뉴스 경주】박희경 기자=동국대 WISE(와이즈)캠퍼스 인문도시사업단은 10월 30일 오후 6시 원효관 4층 글로벌 에이스홀에서 ‘경주의 선율과 공감’라는 주제로 음악 인문학 콘서트를 개최한다.

교육부와 한국연구재단이 주최하고 동국대학교 WISE캠퍼스와 경주시가 주관하는 인문도시지원사업의 인문주간은 인문학 향연으로 펼쳐진다.

교육부에서 지정한 2024년 제19회 인문주간의 주제는 ‘인공지능시대의 인문학’이다. 음악 인문학자 임진형이 총감독하고 진행하는 이번 공감 클래식 음악회는 ‘10월의 어느 멋진 날’에 ‘동서양 고전의 만남’ ‘고전과 현대의 만남’ ‘신라의 달밤’ ‘사랑과 공감의 서사로 충만한 클래식 음악’을 연주하고, 경주에서 영감을 받은 창작곡을 발표한다고 한다.

동국대 WISE캠퍼스 인문도시사업단 홍은숙 단장은 “인간의 언어와 감정을 이해하는 인공지능시대에도 여전히 사랑과 공감은 소중한 가치이고, 인간을 인간답게 하는 내러티브”이라며 “음악 인문학 콘서트에서 인간스러움과 인간의 고유함을 향유하는 시간이 되길 바란다”고 말했다.

Dongguk University WISE Campus Humanities City Project Group Holds Music Humanities Concert

Dongguk University WISE Campus Humanities City Project Group will hold a music humanities concert with the theme of ‘Melody and Sympathy of Gyeongju’ at the Global Ace Hall on the 4th floor of Wonhyo Hall at 6 PM on October 30.

The Humanities Week of the Humanities City Support Project, hosted by the Ministry of Education and the National Research Foundation of Korea and organized by Dongguk University WISE Campus and Gyeongju City, will unfold as a humanities feast.

The theme of the 19th Humanities Week in 2024 designated by the Ministry of Education is ‘Humanities in the Age of Artificial Intelligence.’ This sympathy classical music concert, directed and hosted by music humanist Im Jin-hyung, will perform ‘The Encounter of Eastern and Western Classics,’ ‘The Encounter of Classics and Modernity,’ ‘Silla’s Moonlight Night,’ and ‘Classical Music Full of Narratives of Love and Sympathy,’ on ‘A Wonderful Day in October,’ and present a creative piece inspired by Gyeongju.

Hong Eun-sook, director of the Humanities City Project Group at Dongguk University’s WISE Campus, said, “Even in the era of artificial intelligence that understands human language and emotions, love and sympathy are still precious values, and narratives that make humans human,” and added, “I hope that the music humanities concert will be a time to enjoy humanity and the uniqueness of humans.”
