진주시, 진주국화작품전시회 오는 30일 개막

[브레이크뉴스=정철규 기자] 진주시는 오는 30일 개막식을 시작으로 내달 10일까지 12일간 진주종합경기장 일원에서 ‘2024 진주국화작품전시회’를 개최한다고 밝혔다.

이번 국화작품전시회에는 작년보다 5000점이 늘어난 10만여 점의 다채로운 작품들이 전시되어 관람객들의 눈길을 사로잡을 전망이다.

관람시간은 오전 9시부터 오후 6시까지이며, 우주항공도시를 표현한 조형작과 하모 캐릭터, 동물모형작 등으로 구성됐다.

다양한 작품 중에는 전체 높이 6m의 웅장한 로켓발사대, 진주의 상징 촉석루와 공북문, 동물모형 동산, 국화터널과 꽃벽길 등이 전시된다.

이번 국화작품전시회는 11월 6일부터 개최되는 ‘진주국제농식품박람회’ 행사장의 동·서편으로 1·2전시장이 조성돼 다양한 체험활동도 진행할 예정이다.

진주시 관계자는 “1년 동안 준비한 다양한 국화 작품들을 감상하며 일상에 지친 시민들이 잠깐이나마 가을하늘과 어우러진 국화 향기를 마음껏 즐기시길 바란다”고 말했다.
