윤석열 대통령이 4일 "내각은 현재 추진 중인 개혁 정책 성과를 국민이 체감할 수 있도록 연내 잘 마무리해달라"고 당부했다고 대통령실이 전했다.
윤 대통령은 이날 오전 수석비서관회의 및 총리 주례회동에서 이같이 당부했다고 정혜전 대통령실 대변인이 오후 서면브리핑을 통해 전했다.
윤 대통령은 이날 또 한덕수 국무총리와의 주례회동에서 "연내 국민께서 정책 성과를 직접 체감할 수 있도록 현재 추진 중인 개혁 과제에 관한 각 부처의 신속한 추진을 독려·점검해 달라"고 주문했다.
이에 따라 대통령실은 오는 10일 윤 대통령 임기 반환점에 앞서 주요 국정 운영 성과를 알리는 자리를 마련하는 가운데 우선 성태윤 정책실장이 5일 오후 2시 용산 대통령실 브리핑룸에서 연금·노동·교육·의료에 저출생을 더한 '4+1 개혁' 등 주요 국정 성과를 소개한다.
대통령실은 또 지난 2년반 간 주요 성과를 짚은 후 남은 후반기 과제를 설명 예정인 가운데 김태효 국가안보실 제1차장이 오는 6일 오후 2시 30분 외교·안보 분야 성과 및 향후 추진 계획 등을 브리핑한다.
김 차장은 북한군 러시아 파병 등 러·북 군사 밀착·미국 대선·한·일관계·대중 관계·한·미·일 3국 협력 등에 관한 정부 입장을 설명할 것으로 보인다.
아시아태평양경제협력체(APEC) 정상회의·주요 20개국(G20) 정상회의 등 주요 외교 일정이 모두 끝나는 이달 말 윤 대통령이 직접 대국민 소통에 나서는 방안도 검토되고 있는 가운데 현재 대통령실 내부적으론 기자 회견·국민과의 대화·타운홀 미팅 등 다양한 형식에 대한 논의를 이어가는 중인 걸로 전해진다.
