윤석열 대통령이 7일 "국민 여러분 뜻을 겸허히 받들어 국정 쇄신에 나서겠다"며 "당정 소통을 더욱 강화해 국민을 위해 일하는 유능한 정부·정당이 되도록 하겠다"고 밝혔다.
윤 대통령은 이날 오전 용산 대통령실에서 대국민 담화를 통해 "지금 우리는 대내외 거센 도전 앞에 서 있다"며 "소모적 갈등으로 낭비할 시간이 없다"고 말했다.
그러면서 "민생·미래를 위해 하는 것보다 더 중요한 일은 없다"며 "지적할 부분은 지적해도 민생·미래를 위한 일만큼은 모두 힘 모아주길 부탁드리며 우리가 서로 진영이 다르고 다를 수 있지만 우리 모두 공통 과제"라고 말했다.
이어 "국민 모두 마음을 모으기 위해 제 마음가짐부터 돌아보며 더 소통·노력하겠다"며 "국민이 민생 변화를 체감하고 더 나은 미래를 꿈꿀 수 있도록 저와 정부는 최선을 다하겠다"고 했다.
