충남 서산시는 관내 쌀 생산단체인 농업회사법인 ㈜새들만이 네덜란드로 고품질 쌀 18톤을 수출함에 따라 19일 출하식이 개최됐다고 밝혔다.
이번 ㈜새들만의 수출은 지난해 12월 고품질 쌀 17톤을 네덜란드로 수출한 데 이어 두 번째로, 수출액은 한화 6천만 원이며 수출 품종은 ‘향진주’로 선정됐다.
수출은 아시아익스프레스푸드가 대행하며, 저온 컨테이너 1대를 활용해 고품질 쌀의 신선도를 그대로 유지한 채 네덜란드로 이동될 예정이다.
서산시는 관내 농특산물의 수출을 위해 해외마케팅 교육과 자재비 등을 지원하는 수출선도조직 육성사업을 추진해 ㈜새들만에 2천5백만 원의 보조금을 지원했다.
한편, ㈜새들만은 지난해 미국과 네덜란드 시장에 총 76톤, 147,742달러(한화 약 2억 원)를 수출해 중소 농업법인으로서 주목할 만한 성과를 거뒀다.
