[브레이크뉴스=정철규 기자] 조규일 진주시장이 LG, GS, 삼성, 효성 등 4대 기업 창업주의 기업가치인 진주 K기업가정을 세계로 확산하기 위한 글로벌 네트워크 기반을 다졌다고 26일 밝혔다.
25일 진주시와 진주 K-기업가정신재단, 유타대학교 아시아캠퍼스(UAC)는 인천광역시 연수구 유타대 아시아캠퍼스에서 K-기업가정신 세계적 확산과 상호발전을 위한업무협약을 체결했다.
이날 협약식에는 조규일 진주시장, 김종욱 진주 K-기업가정신재단 회장, 그레고리힐 유타대 아시아캠퍼스 대표가 참석하여 협약서에 서명했다.
이번 협약은 대한민국 경제 기적의 원동력인 K-기업가정신을 세계로 확산하고 이를 미래세대로 계승 발전시키기 위한 유기적인 협력체계 구축을 목적으로 이뤄졌다.
협약의 주요 내용은 K-기업가정신 세계적 확산, K-기업가정신 포럼·컨퍼런스 개최 협력, 지역 기업과 교류, K-기업가정신 지역사회 참여 프로젝트 지원 등이다.
이번 협약을 통해 진주K-기업가정신 국제포럼과 청년 포럼에 외국인 대학생 참여율 제고, 글로벌 인재양성 교육 프로그램 개발, 지역 경제 활성화 등에 걸쳐 상호 협력하게 된다.
