지난 2일 세종시 연동면의 한 산란계(産卵鷄) 농장에서 에이치(H)5형 조류인플루엔자(AI)가 처음으로 검출됨에 따라 세종시가 추가 확산 방지에 나섰다.
3일 세종시에 따르면 에이치(H)5형 조류인플루엔자(AI) 바이러스가 검출된 해당 농가는 산란계 23만 3,000마리를 사육하고 있다.
농장주는 2일 오후 3시경 사육 중인 닭의 폐사 수가 10마리에서 400마리로 급격히 증가하자 시 방역당국에 신고했다.
이번에 조류인플루엔자(AI)가 발생한 농장 주변 반경 10㎞ 이내에는 가금농가 9곳에서 총 27만 7,000마리를 사육하고 있는 것으로 파악됐다.
세종시는 3일부터 발생농장에 대한 살처분을 진행하고 있으며, 이날 오전 1시부터 4일 오후 1시까지 36시간 동안 전국 가금농장 및 관련 업체에 대해 일시이동중지 명령을 발령했다.
시는 향후 재난안전대책본부 운영 ,가금농가 방역수칙 홍보 및 예찰 강화 ,광역방제기, 살수차 등을 총동원한 소독 지원 ,가금농가 전담관제 강화 등을 통해 추가 확산 방지에 총력을 기울인다는 계획이다.
양완식 세종시 도농상생국장은 “가축전염병에 대한 허점이 생기지 않도록 지역 축산시설에서도 주기적인 자체 소독 등을 시행해 경각심을 늦추지 않길 바란다”며 “조류인플루엔자(AI) 추가 확산 방지를 위한 외부인·차량 통제 등 방역대책을 추진해 전염병 유입을 막는 데 최선을 다하겠다”고 했다.
