금산군(군수 박범인)은 지난 3일 한국타이어 금산공장 직원들에게 고향사랑기부제 연말정산 혜택 내용 및 답례품이 담긴 홍보물을 배부하고, 기부제의 취지와 필요성에 대해 상세히 설명하는 등 적극적인 홍보활동을 펼쳤다고 4일 밝혔다.
군과 한국타이어앤테크놀러지 금산공장은 지난해 10월 19일 금산군 고향사랑기부제의 홍보를 위해 관련 업무협약을 체결한 바 있다.
고향사랑기부제는 개인이 주민등록 주소지 이외의 지자체에 연간 500만원 이내 기부하면 기부자는 연말정산에서 10만원 이하는 전액, 10만원 초과는 16.5% 세액공제 혜택과 기부금의 30%를 답례품으로 받을 수 있는 제도다.
군은 고향사랑기부제 활성화를 위해 지역 기업체를 방문하는 등 적극적인 모금 활동으로 참여를 끌어낼 방침이다.
군 관계자는 “한국타이어 금산공장 직원들의 적극적인 협조와 참여로 고향사랑기부제를 많이 알릴 수 있었다”며 “연말정산 혜택뿐 아니라 기부문화 확산에 동참하는 장점을 이해해 주셨다”고 말했다.
이어 “금산군 고향사랑기부에 참여해 주신 모든 분께 감사드린다”며 “연말정산 시즌이 다가오는 만큼 제도 혜택 등 홍보에 적극적으로 나서 기부금 모금에 집중하겠다”고 덧붙였다.
