세종시의회 교육안전위원회는 지난 29일부터 이달 4일까지 제94회 정례회 제6∼9차 회의를 개최하고 세종시교육청 소관 2025년도 본예산안과 기금운용계획안을 예비심사했다.
이날 심사에서 교육안전위원회는 2025년도 세종시교육청 소관 세입예산안과 기금운용계획안을 교육감이 제출한 원안대로 의결하고, 세출예산안에 대해서는 수정가결했다.
시교육청이 제출한 본예산안 세출규모는 전년도 대비 772억 4,086만원(7%)이 증가한 1조 1,834억 2,194만원이다. 교육안전위원회는 특별연수운영 사업 등에서 33억 2,571만원을 감액하고, 현장체험학습차량지원 등에서 2억 611만 5천원 증액하였으며, 나머지 31억 1,959만 5천원은 내부유보금으로 편성했다.

박란희 위원은 진로교육이 일회성 행사에 그치지 않고 다채로운 체험도 가능한 영역이 되어 학생 스스로 진로를 설계할 수 있는 힘을 길러줄 수 있도록 협업 대상의 범위를 확대하고 다변화할 것을 요청했다.
유인호 위원은 내부 시설 및 차량을 적극 활용하고, 버스 지원, 홈페이지 관리 등의 사업에 있어 업무 창구를 단일화하여 행정상 효율과 예산 절감을 도모할 것을 당부했다.
한편, 이날 교육안전위원회에서 예비심사한 세종시교육청 소관 2025년도 본예산안과 기금운용계획안은, 5일 예산결산특별위원회의 종합심사를 거쳐, 16일 본회의에서 최종 의결될 예정이다.
