세종시가 5일 코트야드 바이 메리어트 세종에서 세종창조경제혁신센터(센터장 오득창)와 함께 ‘세종 창업한마당 2024’라는 주제로 창업기업 성과보고회를 개최했다.
이번 행사는 지역의 창업인과 유관기관 간의 교류와 협력을 통해 세종시의 창업 생태계 발전을 촉진하기 위해 마련되었다.
행사에는 창업자, 예비 창업자, 유관기관 관계자 등 약 150명이 참석하여 성황을 이뤘다.
특히 이날 ‘창업하기 좋은 도시 세종’이라는 슬로건을 공식적으로 선포하며, 창업 생태계 활성화를 위한 시의 강력한 의지를 다졌다. 세종시는 창업기업에 대한 정책적 지원을 적극적으로 약속했다.
행사는 1부와 2·3부로 나뉘어 진행되었다. 1부에서는 보육기업 간담회와 오픈이노베이션 성과보고가 이루어졌으며, 참석 기관과 기업의 사업별 성과가 공유되었다.
2·3부에서는 한국엔젤투자협회 팁스타운의 안영일 센터장이 ‘기술창업과 함께하는 미래-백지 위에 그리는 꿈’이라는 주제로 강연을 진행하고, 세종시의 창업지원사업 성과와 2025년 계획을 소개했다.
또한, 토크콘서트에서는 강우진 한밭대 교수가 발제자로 나서 세종 지역의 창업벤처 생태계 현황을 분석하고, 지역 내 창업 생태계 활성화를 위한 주요 과제와 발전 방향을 제시했다.
행사 외에도 세종테크노파크, 신용보증재단, 지식재산센터, 고려대 세종 창업지원단 등 다양한 창업지원기관이 상담부스를 운영하여 맞춤형 정보를 제공했다.
최민호 시장은 “세종시는 창업기업의 성장 단계에 맞춘 지원 정책을 구상하고, 보육공간을 마련하는 한편 초기 창업기업의 기술 고도화와 판로 확보를 위한 지원에 적극 나설 것”이라며, “창업하기 좋은 환경을 구축하기 위해 시민들의 목소리에 귀 기울이고 협력하겠다”고 강조했다.
