Chungnam Buyeo-gun (Governor Park Jeong-hyeon) announced on the 6th that it announced the '10 policies that made Buyeo-gun shine in 2024' containing the main achievements of the 2024 county administration.
Buyeo-gun selected the 10 policies that the county residents most sympathized with through the 1st department evaluation, 2nd online survey, and 3rd committee evaluation for a total of 35 representative policies in the 'industrial economy, welfare, environment, and administration fields'.
In the industrial economy field, ▲ Buyeo-gun's new leap forward, designation of 'opportunity development special zone' ▲ attraction of 65 billion won in investment from renewable energy companies ▲ creation of 52.7 billion won in circular added value through Good Trae Pay were selected. In particular, Good Trae Pay was evaluated as having protected alley shops and led to stable growth of the local economy.
In the welfare sector, ▲Community cooperation, school complex facility (Bandabi Gymnasium) public contest selection ▲The only county-level, selected as an excellent local government for 3 consecutive years in the child policy impact assessment ▲Youth growth support, expansion of free support for vaccinations (HPV, influenza) were selected.
The fact that it actively responds to population decline with customized welfare policies to solve various social needs and problems experienced by the younger generation, including children and adolescents, was a factor in receiving high scores, and continuous investment is planned to be made in balance with local elderly welfare.
In the environment sector, ▲Securing 13 billion won for the vegan leather bio industry, food of the future, and ▲Selecting 47.1 billion won for a biogasification facility public contest from an undesirable facility to an expected facility drew attention.
Buyeo-gun believes that the environmental public contest selection will be an important driving force for sustainable development through eco-friendly energy production and resource recycling, and plans to actively attract bio companies.
Lastly, in the administrative sector, ▲Securing the largest ever 148.1 billion won for the Chungnam Balanced Development Project ▲Achieving the first grade in comprehensive integrity for two consecutive years, the only one in the Chungcheong region, stood out.
Securing funds for the regional balanced development project is significant in that it creates future food for the next five years, and improving integrity has a triple effect of increasing administrative trust, attracting companies, and attracting tourists.
Although it was unfortunately not included in the 10 major policies, various new policies for improving the welfare of the county residents and regional development, such as ▲Expanding veterans' benefits and creating memorial facilities ▲Granting road names for farm roads and vinyl houses ▲Securing sales channels for Buyeo chestnuts through collaboration with Lotte Welfood, also received considerable support.
