브레이크뉴스 문홍철 기자= 한국경영자총협회가 10일 금속노조 총파업과 관련해 사회혼란과 민생경제 어려움을 가중시킬 수 있다면 자제를 요청했다.
경총은 “최근 우리나라는 대내외 경제여건이 어려운 가운데 정치 불확실성과 사회 혼란이 더해져 큰 위기에 직면해 있다”며 “이러한 상황에서 민주노총 금속노조는 12월 5일과 6일 총파업에 이어 12월 11일부터는 무기한 총파업 돌입을 예고하고 있다”고 비판했다.
이어 “금속노조의 총파업은 사회 혼란과 민생경제의 어려움을 가중시킬 수 있는 만큼 자제해야 한다”며 “지금과 같은 국정혼란과 위기 상황에서는 우리 사회의 구성원 모두가 위기 극복과 사회 안정을 위한 노력에 힘을 모아야 한다”고 강조했다.
또한, “노사가 경제 회복을 위한 맡은 바 책임을 다하지 못한다면 우리 경제와 일자리의 어려움은 가중될 우려가 크다”며 “경영계는 많은 어려움 속에서도 경제 살리기와 일자리 지키기에 최선의 노력을 다할 것이다. 노동계도 책임 있는 경제주체로서 파업보다는 사회 안정과 위기 극복을 위해 함께 힘을 모아달라”고 요청했다.
