대전 동구, 2024년도 출생아 부모와 구청장의 행복 만남

대전 동구가 지난 9일 삼성동 행정복지센터 다목적실에서 올해 삼성동 출생아 49가정 중 사전 설문 및 신청을 거쳐 선정된 7가정을 초청해 '구청장과의 소통 간담회'를 가졌다고 밝혔다.

이날 간담회에서는 탄생한 아기들을 축복하고 부모들에게 축하와 감사의 마음을 전하는 시간과 함께 동구 보육·교육정책 전반에 관해 소개하는 자리가 마련됐다.

또한, '아이 키우기 좋은 환경 조성'을 위해 필요한 사항에 대해 부모들의 현실적이고 진솔한 목소리를 듣는 시간도 가졌다.

특히 간담회에 참석한 가정에는 동구 인권센터로부터 기탁받은 유아용 흡착 식판과 간식을 선물하며 다시 한번 축하의 마음을 전했다.

박희조 동구청장은 "저출생이 국가적인 문제로 대두되는 시점에서, 올해 태어난 출생아를 축하하기 위해 이번 소통하는 자리를 마련하게 됐다"며 "오늘 말씀해 주신 부모님들의 소중한 의견을 바탕으로, 아이 키우기 좋은 동구를 만들기 위해 보육·교육 정책 추진에 더욱 헹정력을 집중하겠다"고 전했다.
