[브레이크뉴스=정철규 기자] 한국남동발전(사장·강기윤)은 ‘2024년 지속가능경영유공 정부포상 시상식’에서 종합 ESG 부문 산업통상자원부장관 표창을 수상했다고 11일 밝혔다.

산업통상자원부와 중소벤처기업부 주최하는 지속가능경영유공 정부포상 시상식은 지속가능경영 분야와 지속가능경영 이행 성과 창출에 기여한 기관과 단체를 대상으로 매년 포상하고 있다.

한국남동발전은 에너지 신사업을 통해 온실가스 감축과 무탄소 전환을 추진하고, ESG 경영체계를 구축하는 등 지속가능경영 실현을 위한 노력과 성과를 인정받아 수상했다는 분석이다.
