진주시, 기본형 공익직불금 185억원 지급

[브레이크뉴스=정철규 기자] 진주시는 ‘2024년도 기본형 공익직불금’ 185억원을 1만5206농가 8367ha에 지급했다고 11일 밝혔다.

5년 차인 기본형 공익직불금은 농업활동을 통해 환경보전, 먹거리 안정 등 공익을 증진하고 농업인의 소득안정을 도모하기 위해 농업인에게 보조금을 지원하는 제도다.

기본형 공익직불금은 소농직불금과 면적직불금으로 구분돼 지급되며, 소농직불금은 경작면적 1000㎡에서 5000㎡이하, 농촌 거주기간 3년 이상 등 일정 요건을 충족해야 한다.

시는 농가에 대해 지난해 120만원 대비 10만원이 인상된 연 130만원을 지급했고, 그 외 농업인에게는 신청면적의 구간별 ha당 평균 197만 원의 면적직불금이 지급된다.

농업인이 기본형 공익직불금을 수령하기 위해서는 농업인 의무교육, 농지형상 및 기능 유지, 비료 사용기준 준수, 마을공동체 공동활동 참여 등 17개 준수사항을 이행해야 한다.
