계룡시(시장 이응우)가 연말연시를 앞두고 지난 11월보다 2배 증액한 30억 원 상당의 ‘모바일 계룡사랑상품권’을 발행·판매한다고 11일 밝혔다.
시의 이번 조치는 지역경제 활성화 유도 및 경기 침체로 인한 소상공인 경영 어려움 극복을 위해 마련된 것으로 알려졌다.
이번 모바일 상품권 추가 발행으로 많은 시민들이 할인된 금액으로 상품권을 구매할 수 있게 됐으며, 소상공인들도 매출 증대 효과를 기대할 수 있게 돼 개인과 지역 소상공인 모두에게 실질적인 도움이 될 것으로 전망된다.
아울러 상품권 추가 발행 외에도 골목상권 소비지원 사업을 통해 모바일 계룡사랑상품권 사용 시 최대 3만 원 상당의 인센티브를 지급하는 소비 촉진 행사도 진행될 예정이다.
이응우 계룡시장은 "이번 모바일 계룡사랑상품권 추가 발행이 연말연시 소비침체로 어려움을 겪는 소상공인과 자영업자의 실질 소득 증가 및 지역경제 활성화에 도움이 되길 기대한다"며, "지역경제 침체 극복을 위한 이번 상품권 추가 판매에 시민 여러분의 많은 참여와 지역업소 이용을 바란다"고 말했다.
한편, 모바일 계룡사랑상품권은 1인당 월 50만 원 한도 안에서 지역사랑상품권 앱 ‘chak’을 통해 7% 할인된 가격에 구매할 수 있다.
