세종시‘여성친화도시 시민참여단 성과공유회’가 12일 열렸다.
이날 시청 대회의실에서 열린 성과 공유회는 시민참여단이 올 한해 성인지적 관점에서 시 정책을 모니터링한 결과를 공유하고 정책을 제안하는 자리로 마련됐다. 우수 활동 위원 4명에게 표창장도 수여됐다.
지난해 7월 출범한 제4기 여성친화도시 시민참여단은 교통과 안전 ,돌봄과 복지 ,문화와 활동 ,일자리와 공동체 등 4개 분과에서 총 70명이 활동하고 있다.
이들은 각 분야에서 여성에게 불편하고 불합리한 사항을 모니터링하는 역할과 함께 개선의견 제시, 여성친화도시 시책·정책방향 제안, 여성친화적 지역문화 확산을 위한 홍보활동 지원 등을 담당하고 있다.
이를 위해 역량강화교육과 현장탐방, 분과회의 등 활발한 활동을 진행했으며, 지난 4월부터는 각 분과별로 모니터링 대상 사업 선정, 체크리스트 마련, 정책 현장 방문, 이용자 인터뷰 등을 수행했다.
특히 교통과 안전 분과는 새롬동 녹지공원 등산로의 안전 사항 등을 꼼꼼하게 살펴봤으며, 돌봄과 복지 분과는 북세종·남세종종합청소년센터, 새롬·고운청소년센터 등 청소년 관련 기관을 관찰했다.
또, 문화와 환경 분과는 세종축제 현장을 모니터링 했으며, 일자리와 공동체 분과는 공공도서관 일자리와 노인일자리, 주민자치안착지원 사업을 대상으로 모니터링을 진행했다.
시는 각 분과의 모니터링 결과와 정책제안 내용을 담당 부서에 전달해 시정에 반영될 수 있도록 할 예정이다.
조은강 인구여성가족과장은 “시민참여단의 적극적인 활동은 세종시가 모두가 평등한 여성친화도시로 거듭나는 데 크게 기여하고 있다”며 “앞으로도 시민과 함께 만들어가는 여성친화도시를 조성하기 위해 세심한 노력을 기울이겠다”고 말했다.
