충남교육청은 도내 총 6개 학교와 2개 지자체가 교육부 선정 '2024년 늘봄학교 우수사례'에 선정됐다고 16일 밝혔다.
늘봄학교의 성공적 현장 안착을 위해 노력하는 도내 학교 및 지자체 포함 관련 기관들의 사기 진작을 위해 실시된 이번 우수사례 시상은 늘봄학교·방과후학교 관련 전문가들로 심사위원회를 구성, 초등 늘봄학교와 중등 방과후학교 부문으로 나눠 심사를 진행했다.
초등 늘봄학교 부문 총 25건 중 '광석초등학교, 천안불무초등학교, 천안서당초등학교, 천안신촌초등학교 4개교가 우수 사례로 선정됐으며 중등 방과후학교 부문에서는 '원이중학교, 건양대학교병설 건양고등학교'가 선정됐다.
또한 초등 일반 지자체 부문에 '충남 홍성군청', 중등 방과후학교 지자체 부문에 '충남 천안시청'이 수상의 영예를 안았다.
전국 총 35개 학교·기관 중 선정된 충남의 8개 학교와 기관은 학교 내부 자원을 효율적으로 활용하고 지역 특색을 반영한 우수한 늘봄 프로그램을 구성해 우수사례 선정심사위원회로부터 긍정적인 평가를 받았다.
특히 광석초 ‘별처럼 빛나는 STAR 4U 늘봄학교 운영’, 천안불무초 ‘배움이 즐겁고 함께 성장하는, 어깨동무 늘봄학교’, 천안서초등학교 ‘아이들을 품다, 늘봄 문을 열다, H·U·G 프로젝트로 천안서당 늘봄 문열기’, 천안신촌초 ‘마을과 학교의 행복한 동행으로 꿈·행복·미래’를 주제로 소개한 늘봄학교 현장의 생생한 사례와 다채로운 프로그램 운영이 큰 주목을 받았다.
김지철 교육감은 “촘촘하고 안전한 충남형 늘봄학교를 빛낸 6개 학교와 2개 지자체에 진심으로 축하를 전한다”며 “2025년에도 충남형 늘봄학교가 우리 아이들에게 더 알차고 행복한 교육 정책으로 다가갈 수 있도록 다시 한번 최선을 다하겠다”고 밝혔다.
