금산군이 주최하고 금산축제관광재단이 주관하는 제43회 금산세계인삼축제가 2025년 9월 19일부터 28일까지 열흘간 금산인삼관광지 일원에서 열리게 될 예정이다.
특히, 내년도 축제는 추석 연휴를 앞두고 개최돼 국내외 관광객 유치와 지역 경제 활성화 도모에 큰 도움이 될 전망이다.
금산축제관광재단은 제26회 이사회에서 이번 축제 일정을 포함해 8개 안건을 심의·의결했으며, ▲제5회 금산삼계탕축제 ▲2025 금산보곡산골 산벚꽃축제 ▲읍·면 화합의 날 ▲금산군 일주일 살기 체험 관광 상품 ▲외국인 유학생 금산 서포터즈 사업 등 9개의 축제 및 관광 사업에 관한 논의를 함께 진행했다.
재단은 축제 일정 선정에 있어 가을철 쾌적한 날씨, 인삼 수확기, 주민 참여 가능성 등 여러 요인을 종합적으로 고려했으며, 추석 전 축제를 개최해 명절 특수 효과를 통한 인삼 판매량 증가 및 지역 농가 소득 증대를 기대하고 있다.
앞서 재단은 제42회 금산세계인삼축제 결과를 공유하는 시간도 가졌다.
