브레이크뉴스 정민우 기자= SK그룹이 연말을 맞아 이웃사랑 성금 120억 원을 사회복지공동모금회에 기탁했다.
SK는 18일 지동섭 SK수펙스추구협의회 SV위원장이 서울 중구 정동에 있는 사회복지공동모금회를 찾아 성금 120억 원을 전달했다고 밝혔다.
SK는 1999년 이후 매년 사회복지공동모금회에 이웃사랑 성금을 기부해왔다. 올해까지 희망나눔 캠페인 누적 기부액은 총 2465억 원에 이른다.
SK는 올해 그룹 차원의 성금 120억 원 외에도 SK이노베이션, SK하이닉스, SK㈜ 머티리얼즈, SK실트론 등 계열사 임직원들의 자발적 기부를 통해 약 63억 원의 임직원 기금을 추가로 조성했다. 이를 희망나눔 캠페인 성금과 합산 시 연간 기부 규모는 183억 원에 달한다.
한편, SK그룹은 올 9월 30년만에 최악의 태풍 피해를 겪은 베트남 현지 복구를 위해 30만달러를 지원하는 등 국내 뿐 아니라, 해외 지역의 재난 및 피해 지역의 복구·구호 활동에도 적극 나서왔다.
지동섭 SK수펙스추구협의회 SV위원장은 “불확실한 대·내외 경제 상황으로 힘든 겨울을 보내고 있는 이웃들에게 작은 힘이 되길 바란다”면서 “SK는 앞으로도 우리 이웃 및 사회와 함께 성장해 나갈 수 있는 행복나눔 활동을 지속적으로 펼쳐 나갈 것이다”고 말했다.
