거창군, 경상남도 농촌진흥사업 우수기관 선정

[브레이크뉴스=주윤한 기자] 거창군이 경상남도에서 주관한 2024년도 농촌진흥사업 평가에서 우수기관으로 선정돼 도지사 표창패를 받았다.

경상남도농업기술원에서 열린 ‘2024년 농촌진흥사업 성과보고회’는 농업과 농촌 발전을 위해 노력한 성과를 공유하고 농촌진흥사업 활성화를 도모하며 성과확산에 기여한 우수기관과 유공자를 격려하기 위해 마련됐다.

이날 행사에는 정찬식 경상남도농업기술원장과 각 시군 관계공무원, 농업인 등이 참석했으며 농촌진흥사업 평가 우수기관, 유공자에게 총 53점의 표창이 수여됐다.

거창군은 경남 18개 시군 중 농촌지도사업 혁신전략 추진 등 16개의 지표 평가에서 우수한 성적을 거둬 우수기관으로 선정됐다.

또한, 사과를 활용한 다양한 가공제품 전시와 2024년 경남 우수브랜드 쌀 평가 대상을 받은 ‘밥맛이 거창한다’를 전시하며 거창군 농산물과 가공품의 우수성을 알렸다.

김동석 거창군농업기술센터 소장은 “이번 우수기관 선정은 거창군 농업인들을 위해 더 열심히 노력하라는 뜻으로 생각하고 앞으로 농업인이 체감할 수 있는 농정 실현을 위해 최선을 다하겠다”고 말했다.

거창군은 기관 수상과 더불어 농촌자원사업 유공 도지사 표창을 이시진 사과숲애 대표가 수상했으며 농촌진흥사업 유공 도의장 표창은 윤진미 한국생활개선회거창군연합회 회장이 수상하는 영예를 안았다.
