대전기독교종합사회복지관(관장 김은정)은 지난 20일 A+에셋 강북본부가 직접 기관을 방문해 영유아지원사업을 위한 후원금 300만원을 전달했다고 23일 밝혔다.
A+에셋 강북본부는 지역사회 나눔문화를 확산하고, 소외 계층 및 취약 계층에게 조금이나마 도움이 되고 싶다는 취지를 가지고 종로구 인사동 소재 사회복지법인 감리회 태화복지재단을 찾았으며, 재단 산하 '대전기독교종합사회복지관'에 내방해 후원금을 전달하기로 결정했다.
A+에셋의 따뜻한 후원금은 대전 중구지역사회 내 영유아를 위한 복지사업에 사용될 예정이다.
A+에셋 강북본부 대전세종지점 유지연 지점장은 "앞으로도 지속적인 후원과 더불어 봉사활동도 참여하여 지역의 돌봄이 필요한 이웃을 위해 지속적인 나눔을 실천하고 싶다"고 말했다.

한편, 대전기독교종합사회복지관은 아이들의 건강한 성장을 돕는 '민관투게더-영유아지원' 사업을 진행하고 있으며, 지난 5월에는 지역 주민들과 함께 지원금 마련을 위해 수세미를 제작·판매하고 어려움이 있는 가정에 분유를 지원하는 등 '섬김과 나눔'의 정신으로 소외된 이웃의 삶의 질을 향상시키기 위해 노력하고 있다.
