논산시(시장 백성현)는 변화하는 농업 환경에 대응하고 농업인의 생산성과 경쟁력 강화를 위해 ‘2025년 새해농업인실용교육’을 2025년 1월 8일부터 15일까지 6일간 개최한다고 23일 밝혔다.
이번 교육은 농업인들에게 실용적인 기술과 정보를 제공하여 농가 소득 증대와 지속 가능한 농업 발전을 도모하는 것을 목표로 농업인들의 의견을 반영해 영농 시기에 맞춘 핵심 과목으로 교육을 구성했다.
시에 따르면 벼, 딸기, 고추, 상추, 복숭아, 배, 포도, 사과 등 8개 주요 작목을 주제로 총 10회에 걸쳐 진행되며, 약 1,500명의 농업인이 참여할 예정이다.
특히, ‘고품질 딸기 재배기술 과정’은 ▲우량묘 생산 ▲저온기 환경관리 ▲병해충 방제 등을 중심으로 딸기 품질 향상 및 생산 비용 절감을 목적으로 하며, 농업인들의 참여 촉진을 위해 야간 과정으로 운영된다. 강의는 논산시농업기술센터 딸기팀의 정시욱 팀장과 장창순 지도사가 전담해 다양한 경험과 노하우를 전수한다.
