브레이크뉴스 정민우 기자= 한국마사회는 내년 1월 4일 렛츠런파크 서울 중문 광장에서 신년 첫 경마를 맞이해 ‘흥겨운 새해馬중’ 행사를 개최한다고 27일 밝혔다.
이번 행사는 2025년 렛츠런파크 서울에서 열리는 첫 고객 행사로, 서울 경마공원의 첫 경마일인 1월 4일 오전 9시 30분에 시작된다. 신년 첫 경주를 관람하기 위해 방문한 고객이라면 누구나 참여할 수 있으며, △떡 나눔 행사 △전통 국악 공연 △플래시몹 댄스공연 △초청가수 공연 순으로 진행된다.
중문 광장에서 입장한 고객 선착순 5000명에게 기념 떡 제공으로 시작된다. 이후에는 눈과 귀를 즐겁게 해줄 사물놀이 공연과 강원도 아리랑 음악에 맞춘 댄스 공연이 펼쳐진다. 흥겨운 분위기를 이어 중요무형문화재 제23호 가야금산조 및 병창 전수자이자 각종 국악경연 프로그램에서 활약한 권미희 가수의 공연으로 경마장 분위기를 뜨겁게 달굴 예정이다. 공연이 끝난 후에는 관객들에게 신년 인사와 함께 소정의 사은품을 제공하며 화답의 시간을 갖는다.

한편, 한국마사회는 연말을 맞아 오는 28일부터 이틀간 전국 3개 경마공원 ‘무료입장’, 장외발매소 입장료 ‘2천원 할인’ 고객 행사를 실시한다. 특히, 29일에는 서울 경마공원 주차장을 무료 개방하며 대고객 서비스를 제공할 예정이다.
