브레이크뉴스 문홍철 기자= 조현준 효성 회장이 신년사를 통해 올 한 해 소통으로 위기를 전화위복의 계기로 신뢰 받는 백년 효성을 만들자고 독려했다.
효성은 2일 서울 마포구 효성 본사에서 조 회장을 비롯한 임원 및 팀장 200여명이 참석한 가운데 2025년 시무식을 개최했다고 밝혔다.
조 회장은 이 자리에서 “우리는 지금 우리의 생존과 미래를 송두리째 흔들 수 있는 절체절명의 위기에 직면해 있다”면서도 “치밀하게 준비한 사람에게는 반드시 기회가 온다. 온 힘을 모아 지금의 위기를 전화위복의 계기로 만들어야 한다”고 말했다.
이어 “출발점이 바로 소통이다. 우리는 소통을 통해 서로간의 벽을 허물고 신뢰를 쌓으며 협력하는 조직을 만들어야 한다”며 “진심 어린 경청을 통해 서로의 고민을 이해하고 마음을 나누며, 강한 팀웍을 만들어야 한다”고 강조했다.
또한, “회의 문화도 근본적으로 바뀌어야 한다”면서 “일방적인 지시와 보고만 반복하는 형식적인 회의가 아니라 폭 넓고 다양한 정보와 의견들을 자유롭게 나누고, 최적의 솔루션을 찾아내는 장으로 만들어야 한다”고 언급했다.
아울러 조 회장은 “지금 한 치의 실수도 용납되지 않는 살얼음판 위에 서 있다”며 “각 사업부는 당장 실행 가능한 컨틴전시 플랜을 마련하라”고 주문했다.
계속해서 “위기가 우리를 더욱 강하게 만들 것”이라면서 “모두의 힘을 모아 혼돈의 시간을 넘어 세계에서 가장 단단하고 신뢰 받는 백년 효성을 만들자”고 격려했다.
