브레이크뉴스 정명훈 기자= 공조수사본부(공조본)는 3일 '내란 수괴' 혐의를 받고 있는 윤석열 대통령에 대한 체포영장 집행을 시도했으나, 수색을 불허한 대통령 경호처에 막혀 영장 집행을 중단하고 철수했다.
공조본은 이날 오후 1시30분경 언론 공지를 통해 "(대통령 경호처와의) 계속된 대치 상황으로 사실상 체포영장 집행이 불가능하다고 판단하고 집행 저지로 인한 현장 인원들 안전이 우려돼 영장 집행을 중지했다"고 밝혔다.
이날 공조본은 경호처의 1, 2차 저지선을 뚫고 관저 앞까지 진입했지만, 경호처가 경호법과 경호구역이라는 이유를 들며 수색을 불허함에 따라 결국 윤 대통령 체포영장 집행은 불발됐다.
공조본은 이어 "향후 조치는 검토 후 결정할 예정"이라면서 "법에 의한 절차에 응하지 않은 피의자의 태도에 심히 유감"이라고 했다.
한편, 공조본이 오는 주말 사이 다시금 영장을 집행을 시도할지 관심이 쏠린다. 서울서부지법에서 발부한 윤 대통령의 체포영장 집행 시한은 오는 6일까지다.
