김정희 의장은“2022년3월 울진대형산불 발생했을 당시, 전 국민께서 울진군민들을 위해 온정의 손길을 보내주신 덕분에 울진군이 위기를 극복하고 다시 일어설 수 있었다.”라면서“갑작스러운 참사로 인해 소중한 가족을 잃은 유가족들에게 힘이 되고 싶은군민의 마음을 함께 전하며, 조속한 진상조사와유가족에 대한 피해 지원이 이루어지기를 간절히 바란다”라고 애도의 말을전했다.
