[브레이크뉴스=주윤한 기자] 거창군은 거창적십자병원 분만센터에 김정선 산부인과 전문의가 지난 2일 과장으로 새롭게 부임해 진료를 시작했다고 밝혔다.
김정선 과장은 한림대학교 한강성심병원 수련의를 거쳐 햇빛병원 원장, 서울 곽여성병원 과장, 서울 열린산부인과의원 과장을 역임했으며 30년 이상의 산부인과 진료와 출산 등 풍부한 임상경험을 보유한 전문가이다.
거창적십자병원 분만센터는 지역 내 유일한 산부인과로 2013년부터 분만 취약지 지원사업 의료기관으로 선정됐다.
병원은 지역사회 안전한 임신과 출산 환경조성을 위해 어려운 병원 재정 상황에도 불구하고 우수한 인재를 확보하며 서북부 거점병원으로서 역할을 충실히 수행하고 있다.
최준 거창적십자병원장은 “의료인력 부족 등으로 분만센터 운영에 어려움이 있지만 임신과 출산을 앞둔 지역주민들이 불편함 없이 양질의 의료서비스를 제공받을 수 있도록 최선을 다하겠다”고 말했다.
구인모 거창군수는 “분만 취약지 지원사업을 수행하고 있는 거창적십자병원이 거창형의료복지타운과 공공산후조리원, 행복맘커뮤니티센터 인프라가 구축될 때까지 안전한 임신, 건강한 출산 지원을 위해 노력해 주길 바란다”며 “인근 지역에서 유일한 거창적십자병원 산부인과를 군민들이 많이 이용하고 관심 가져 주시길 바란다”고 말했다.
