브레이크뉴스 정민우 기자= LG유플러스는 다가오는 설을 맞아 1300여 중소 협력자들의 자금 유동성 확보를 지원하고자 납품 대금 300억원을 100% 현금으로 지급한다. 설 연휴 전 추가 납품 대금 지급일은 오는 24일이다.
이번 조기 집행 자금은 무선 중계기 및 유선 네트워크 장비 납품, 네트워크 공사, IT 개발 및 운영 등을 담당하는 협력사에 지급될 예정이다. 협력사는 신제품 생산, 설비 투자, 연구개발 등에 조기 확보한 대금을 활용할 수 있게 된다.
LG유플러스는 2014년부터 추석·설 등 명절 전 납품 대금을 조기에 집행하며 협력사와 상생을 도모해 왔다. 올해 설 명절까지 누적 조기 집행된 납품대금 누적 액수는 5200억원에 이른다.
LG유플러스는 협력사의 안정적인 자금 운영을 위해 다양한 지원 프로그램도 운영하고 있다. IBK기업은행과 연계해 낮은 이자(1.9%~3.3%)로 중소 협력사에게 자금을 대여해주는 ‘동반성장 펀드’를 10년 넘게 운영하고 있으며, 협력사의 신제품 개발 자금을 직접 지원하는 ‘직접자금지원’ 프로그램도 전개하고 있다.
또한, 생산성 향상과 ESG 강화 등 파트너사의 지속 가능한 성장을 위한 프로그램도 진행 중이다. 협력사의 우수한 제품 및 아이디어에 대해 일정 수준의 구매를 미리 보장하는 ‘협력사 제안의 날’, 중소기업 생산성 향상 및 공급망 관리를 위한 ‘컨설팅’, 중소협력사가 처한 문제를 청취하고 해결하기 위한 협의체 ‘동반성장보드’ 등 프로그램이 대표적이다.
