브레이크뉴스 정민우 기자= 2022년부터 1196억원의 임금을 체불한 대유위니아그룹이 아직도 970억원의 체불액을 청산하지 못한 것으로 드러났다 . 골프장과 빌딩을 팔아 체불임금을 갚겠다던 약속도 지키지 않았다.
김위상 국민의힘 의원이 고용노동부로부터 제출받은 자료에 따르면 대유위니아는 2022년 4월부터 지난해 12월까지 위니아전자, 위니아, 위니아전자매뉴팩쳐링 등 3개 계열사에서 2087명에게 1196억6200만원의 임금을 체불했다.
지금까지 대유위니아가 청산한 체불액은 226억3400만원으로 전체 체불임금의 18.9%에 그친다. 작년 하반기(7~12월)에만 117억7100만원의 임금을 추가로 체불한 사실도 이번에 처음 확인됐다.
대유위니아는 2023년 국회 환경노동위원회에 ‘체불임금 변제 지원 계획안 ’을 제출하고 대유몽베르 CC 골프장, 성남 대유위니아타워를 매각해 변제하겠다고 약속했지만 지키지 않고 있다.
골프장 매각 대금 3000억원 중 30억원만 변제에 투입했고, 성남 대유위니아타워는 아직 팔리지 않았다.
지난해 7월에는 박영우 회장 일가가 소유한 선릉 대유타워가 670억원에 팔렸지만, 체불임금 변제에는 한 푼도 쓰이지 않았다.
정부가 대유위니아를 대신해 지급한 대지급금 94억3700만원도 사실상 떼인 상태인 것으로 나타났다.
지난해 12월까지 고용노동부의 대지급금 환수 실적은 6400만원(회수율 0.6%)에 불과했다. 고용노동부는 “위니아전자 등 가전 계열사의 회생절차 개시로 가압류 토지에 대한 강제집행이 불가능해졌다”고 해명했다.
이에 김 의원은 “대유위니아에게 체불임금 청산, 대지급금 변제 의지가 있기나 한 것인지 매우 우려스럽다”면서 “정부는 모든 수단과 방법을 강구해 대유위니아 임금체불 사태를 종식할 특단의 대책을 내놔야 한다”고 말했다.
