진주시, 올해 진주드림 계란 11톤 홍콩 첫 수출

[브레이크뉴스=정철규 기자] 진주시는 3일 금포영농조합법인에서 진주드림 계란 11톤을 홍콩으로 올해 첫 수출하는 선적식을 가졌다.

홍콩 수출 진주드림 계란은 지난해 2월 처음으로 11톤, 3400만원 상당을 선적한 후 지난 한 해 동안 총 44톤, 1억3,600만원 상당을 수출했다.

계란은 홍콩 당국에 의해 ‘고위험 식품’으로 분류돼 있어 까다로운 검역 기준을 통과해야 한다.

진주드림 계란은 홍콩정부수출작업장의 검역 절차를 준수하고, 현지 소비자의 인정을 받아 올해도 지속적으로 수출될 전망된다.

진주시 관계자는 “지난해 새롭게 발굴한 품목인 신선란 수출이 올해에도 순조롭게 진행될 것으로 보인다”며 “앞으로도 새로운 수출 품목 발굴을 위해 노력하겠다”고 말했다.
