세종시교육청이 2월 10일부터 2월 28일까지 관내 모든 학교를 대상으로 신학기 대비 ‘학교안전 종합점검’을 실시한다고 밝혔다.
이번 점검은 신학기를 앞두고 학교 생활안전과 시설안전 등 학교 안전 전반을 점검하는 것으로, 교내외 안전 위험요인별 7가지 분야에 대해 학교 자체 점검과 교육청 현장 점검을 병행하여 진행된다.
점검의 주요 내용은 통학 안전관리 ,고농도 미세먼지 대응 및 공기정화장치 관리 ,학교 건축물 및 시설물 안전관리 ,학교 내외 공사장 안전관리 ,기숙사 화재예방 및 대응관리 ,시설, 경비, 청소 산업안전 관리 ,급식실, 통학보조 산업안전 관리 등 총 7개 분야로 구성되어 있다.
세종시교육청은 이번 점검을 통해 단순 조치가 가능한 사항은 학교에서 즉시 개선하도록 하고, 전문적이고 장기간 소요되며 대규모 예산이 필요한 사항에 대해서는 관련 부서와 협력하여 개선을 추진할 계획이다.
이를 통해 학교 안전사고를 예방하고, 학생과 교직원이 안심할 수 있는 교육 환경을 조성하는 데 집중할 예정이다.
