브레이크뉴스 최애리 기자= 하나투어가 2024년 일본 항공권 예약 동향 분석 결과를 18일 발표했다.
이 자료에 따르면 일본을 재방문 하는 여행객이 늘어났으며 항공사들의 신규 노선 취항에 따라 소도시를 찾는 사람들이 급증한 것으로 나타났다.
먼저 일본 항공권 예약 상위 30개 지역을 분석한 결과, 오사카, 후쿠오카, 치토세, 나리타, 오키나와가 부동의 인기 여행지 1위부터 5위를 차지했다.

특히 상위 10위권 내에 사가, 도야마 등 소도시가 이름이 올린 것이 주목할 점이다.
사가현은 일본 규슈 북서부에 위치한 현으로, 인구 78만여명의 소도시다. 사가에는 옛 성터의 성호와 수로 등이 고스란히 남아있으며 도자기의 산지로 명성이 높다
한국에서의 직항 노선은 티웨이항공이 유일하게 운영하고 있다. 특히 직항 노선이 생기면서 전년 대비 309%나 증가한 예약률을 보였다.

도야마는 일본 혼슈의 동해 연안에 있는 현이다. 인구 100만여명의 작은 도시다. 매년 4월 오픈하는 설벽 여행과 가을 단풍 여행 등이 유명하다.
다만 도야마로 가는 직항 노선은 부산에서 출발하는 에어부산과 인천에서 출발하는 대한항공 노선이 있으나, 이들 노선은 모두 부정기 노선이다. 여행객이 많은 4~5월 등에 한해 운영하고 있다.
아울러 상위 30위권 내에 히로시마, 오이타, 고마츠 등 소도시가 이름을 올리기도 했다.
이와 관련, 하나투어는 이같은 일본 소도시의 인기가 한층 늘어날 것으로 전망하며 이에 발맞춰 다양한 콘텐츠를 기획할 예정이다.
대한항공의 고베 신규 취항에 맞춰 오사카와 연계하는 여행 상품을 준비한다. 후쿠오카, 유후인, 벳푸 등 동쪽 중심의 규슈 여행 패턴에서 벗어나 서쪽의 지방 도시 이토시마, 나가사키, 구마모토를 연계한 상품을 선보일 계획이다.
하나투어 관계자는 "관광객 증가로 붐비는 일본 대도시를 벗어나 일본 특유의 여유로움과 고즈넉함을 느낄 수 있는 관광객이 적고, 잘 알려지지 않은 숨은 소도시를 찾는 여행 수요가 지속적으로 증가할 것"이라며 "신규 소도시 여행지를 발굴하고, 소도시와 인기 대도시를 연계하는 등 상품 다양화에 박차를 가할 예정"이라고 말했다.
