브레이크뉴스 문홍철 기자= 인플레이션으로 인한 전세계 금리 인상 탓에 기름값이 치솟고 있는 가운데 중고차 시장에서도 고연비를 자랑하는 하이브리드 차의 인기가 증가했다는 발표가 20일 나왔다.
자동차 거래 플랫폼 엔카닷컴이 자사에서 거래된 하이브리드 차량의 빅데이터를 분석한 결과, 최근 5년 간 중고차 시장 내 하이브리드차 등록 및 판매대수 비중이 전체 2%대에서 5%대로 2배 이상 증가했다.
지난해 국내 신차 시장에서 하이브리드 차는 38만9000대가 판매됐다. 이는 전년 대비 29.2% 성장한 수치다. 지난 1월 수입차 월간 판매에서 하이브리드차가 차지하는 비중이 처음으로 70%가 넘을 정도로 하이브리드 시장의 괄목할 만한 성장이 이어지고 있다.

이같은 인기는 중고차 시장에도 그대로 반영됐다. 최근 5년 간 엔카닷컴에서 거래된 하이브리드차는 꾸준히 늘었다. 전체 연료타입에서 하이브리드차가 차지하는 비중은 매해 늘어나, 등록대수 비중은 20년 2.60%에서 24년 5.92%까지 증가했다.
