한국부동산원이 3월 7일 국토교통부로부터 공공건축지원센터로 지정됐다. 지원센터는 공공건축물의 가치와 품격 향상을 위해 건축기획, 설계공모 운영, 자문 등의 업무를 수행한다.
한국부동산원은 이미 '건축HUB'를 통해 설계공모 전 과정을 디지털화한 "건축 설계공모 정보서비스"를 운영 중이며, 이를 통해 공정한 설계공모 제도를 확산하고 있다. 이번 지원센터 지정으로 공공건축 조성 및 정책 지원 업무가 더욱 강화될 예정이다.
