당진시(시장 오성환)는 17일 김주회 대전대학교 대학원 융합컨설팅학과 교수를 재난 안전 분야 정책특별보좌관으로 위촉했다고 발표했다.
이번 위촉식은 시장실에서 진행되었으며, 민선 8기 주요 정책 방향에 대한 시정 자문 기능 강화를 목표로 하고 있다.
특히 재난 및 안전 분야에서 전문적 자문과 네트워크 확산을 도모하기 위해 마련되었다.
김주회 박사는 한국교통대학교 일반대학원에서 안전공학 박사 학위를 취득하고, 현재 대전대학교에서 교수로 재직 중이다.
그는 금산군 안전관리 자문단장으로 활동하며, ㈜돈바이오 대표이사, 푸른숲만리 대표 등 다양한 직책을 맡고 있어 높은 전문성을 인정받고 있다.
그의 풍부한 실무 경험은 당진시의 재난 안전 정책 강화에 크게 기여할 것으로 기대된다.
당진시는 이번 위촉을 통해 김 교수의 정책적 자문을 적극 활용하고, 민간 전문가의 인적 네트워크를 통해 재난 안전 정책의 실효성을 높일 계획이다.
오성환 시장은 “김주회 교수의 경력과 전문성을 통해 당진시의 재난 안전 정책을 한층 더 강화하고, 시민들이 안전하게 생활할 수 있는 기반을 마련하겠다”고 밝혔다.
한편, 당진시는 무보수 명예직으로 운영되는 정책특별보좌관을 두고 있으며, 임기는 위촉일로부터 2년이다.
현재 경제.산업 분야, 산업.안전 분야, 문화.예술 분야, 투자유치 분야, 모빌리티 분야 등 총 5명의 전문가가 활동 중이다.
