당진시(시장 오성환)는 지난 17일 대산~당진 3.4공구 통합상황실에서 대산~당진 고속도로 건설공사에 따른 지역 건설산업 간담회를 개최했다고 19일 밝혔다.
이번 간담회에는 한국도로공사 서산아산건설사업단, 2·3·4공구 시공사인 ㈜KCC건설, ㈜태영건설, 금호건설(주), 대한일반건설협회 당진시지회, 대한전문건설협회 당진협의회, 당진시청 도로과·건설과 등 총 12명의 관계자가 참석했다.
당진시는 『당진시 지역건설산업 활성화 촉진에 관한 조례』에 따라 지역 건설산업을 활성화하기 위한 노력을 적극적으로 추진하고 있으며, 대규모 건설공사인 대산~당진 고속도로 건설공사에 지역 건설업체가 참여할 수 있는 기회를 마련하고자 간담회를 조직했다.
고동주 도로과장은 특수공정을 제외한 소규모 전문 공사에 지역 건설업체의 참여를 적극적으로 요청하며 협조를 당부했다.
대한일반건설협회 당진시지회 강철언 상생협력단장과 대한전문건설협회 당진협의회 윤도현 회장은 본사의 협력업체 등록 협조 및 소규모 공정에서 지역업체의 참여를 부탁했다.
한국도로공사 서산아산건설사업단 관계자는 소규모 건설공사에 지역업체의 참여를 확대하기 위해 노력하겠다고 전했으며, 각 공구 현장 소장들도 협력업체 등록과 지역업체 참여에 적극 협조할 것이라고 밝혔다.
당진시는 지역 건설산업의 활성화를 촉진하고 지역경제 발전을 도모하기 위해 대규모 건설공사에 지역 건설업체의 하도급 참여 및 지역 장비와 자재 사용을 적극적으로 추진할 계획이다.
