2025 쏘나타 택시는 고객의 목소리를 적극 반영해 ‘택시 통합 단말기’를 탑재하고, 차량 관리 및 정비 편의성을 한층 개선한 것이 특징이다.
현대차는 2025 쏘나타 택시에 기존 별도 기기들로 운영됐던 △카카오 T 택시 기사용 앱 △티맵(TMAP) 내비게이션 △어플리케이션식 택시 미터 △운행기록계 등을 차량 내 12.3인치 디스플레이를 통해 이용할 수 있는 ‘택시 통합 단말기’를 제공한다.
특히, 차량의 스티어링 휠 버튼과 ‘카카오 T 택시 기사용 앱’의 배차 서비스를 연동해 콜카드를 수락하면 자동으로 ‘카카오내비’로 길 안내를 제공하는 등 사용 편의성을 향상시켰으며, 차량 기본 내비게이션으로는 택시 고객의 선호도가 ‘티맵 내비게이션’을 적용했다.
아울러 어플리케이션식 택시 미터에는 GPS 및 바퀴 회전수를 활용한 정밀한 요금 산정 기능과 할증·시외요금 등 탄력 요금제 자동 설정 기능을 탑재했다.
