안양시가 ‘안양시 청소년상’ 후보자 추천을 다음달 10일까지 받는다.
안양시는 봉사, 효행, 문화예술, 체육, 과학기술, 미래도전 등 6개 부문에서 건전한 가치관과 올바른 인성을 갖추고 타의 모범이 되는 청소년 각 부문별 1명을 선정, 표창한다.
후보 자격은 안양시에 2년 이상 거주하고 있는 9세 이상 24세 이하의 청소년(2025년 5월 24일 기준)으로, 표창 부문에서 모범이 되는 청소년이라면 누구나 후보자가 될 수 있다.
후보자 추천은 학교장, 청소년 관련 기관·단체장, 만안구 또는 동안구청장, 31개 동장 등이 할 수 있다. 부문별 구비서류를 갖춰 이메일(jeemin63@korea.kr) 또는 우편(안양시청 교육청소년과), 전자문서시스템(추천권자가 공공기관의 경우)으로 제출하면 된다.
안양시는 청소년 전문가들로 구성된 청소년상 심사위원회를 통해 후보자를 심사하여 수상자를 선정할 예정이며, 오는 5월 24일 ‘안양시 청소년의 날(5월 넷째주 토요일)’ 기념식에서 시상할 계획이다.
최대호 안양시장은 “다양한 분야에서 열정을 가지고 성장하고 있는 주위의 청소년을 따뜻하게 바라보고 격려해주길 바란다”며, “훌륭한 청소년들이 후보자로 추천될 수 있도록 시민들께서 관심을 갖고 참여주시길 바란다”고 말했다.
안양시는 청소년을 존중하는 사회 분위기를 조성하고 청소년의 권익증진을 위해 매년 5월 넷째주 토요일을 ‘안양시 청소년의 날’로 지정하고 이날을 기념하는 청소년 축제 개최, 청소년 활동 지원 등을 추진하고 있다.

Anyang City is accepting recommendations for candidates for the ‘Anyang City Youth Award’ until the 10th of next month.
Anyang City will select and award one youth from each of the six categories: service, filial piety, culture and arts, sports, science and technology, and future challenges, who has sound values and a proper character and serves as a role model for others.
Candidates must be youth aged 9 to 24 (as of May 24, 2025) who have resided in Anyang City for more than two years. Any youth who serves as a role model in the award category can be a candidate.
Candidates can be recommended by school principals, heads of youth-related organizations and groups, mayors of Manan-gu or Dongan-gu, and heads of 31 neighborhoods. You can submit the required documents by category by email (jeemin63@korea.kr) or mail (Anyang City Hall Education and Youth Division), or electronic document system (if the recommender is a public institution).
Anyang City will select the winner by reviewing the candidates through the Youth Award Review Committee consisting of youth experts, and will present the award at the ‘Anyang City Youth Day (the fourth Saturday of May)’ commemorative ceremony on May 24.
