한덕수 대통령 권한대행 국무총리가 2일 "청년주택드림대출을 신설해 장기·저리로 지원하는 등 내 집 마련·주거비 부담 경감을 동시 추진하겠다"고 밝혔다.
한 권한대행은 이날 오전 서울 마포구 중소기업DMC타워에서 열린 '제15차 청년정책조정위원회'에서 "공공분양주택·공적 임대 등으로 11만7000호 주택을 청년들에게 공급하겠다"며 "올해 추진할 청년 정책 시행 계획은 일자리·주거·교육·생활·참여·권리 등 5개 분야 339개 과제 28조 사업을 포함한다"며 이같이 말했다.
그러면서 "(청년 일자리는) 민간 협업을 통해 다양한 유형 일·경험·기회를 4만8000명에서 5만8000명까지 확대하고 청년들이 빈 일자리 업종에 취업할 경우 근속 인센티브를 신설하겠다"며 "청년창업기업 수의계약 허용 금액을 2000만원에서 5000만원으로 높여 일터 안전망도 강화하겠다"고 밝혔다.
또 “올해부터 이공계 석‧박사 5만여 명에게 연구생활장려금을 신규 지급하고, 국가장학금 지원 구간도 기존 8구간에서 9구간 이하로 확대해 50만 청년이 추가로 장학금을 받도록 하겠다"며 "청년도약계좌 정부 기여금을 확대해 청년들 자산 형성을 돕고 고립·은둔청년 등 취약청년들을 적극 발굴·지원하겠다"고 했다.
이어 "자립준비청년은 고립·은둔 비율이 높으므로 위기 상태에 있는 청년을 신속 발굴하고 지원토록 하겠다"며 "성폭력 피해자 보호시설 등 유사 보호시설에서 퇴소한 청년들에 대해서도 자립준비청년과 동등한 수준으로 지원을 강화하겠다"고 전했다.
